Electric Booster
All systems come standard with an electric booster mounted within the tank. The boosters work in much the same way as an electric storage system in providing heat to the water through an electric element. The heating element is controlled by a thermostat which will switch the element off when the water is up to temperature. It is also possible to control the electric booster with a switch located in your meter box or in the house; or with a timer.
If you are economical with your hot water you may not need to turn your electric booster on during the warmer months at all giving you free hot water for much of the year. During the winter months, however when the weather is colder and the sun is often covered by clouds you may need your electric booster on most of the time.
