Gas Booster An inline gas booster works slightly differently from an electric booster in that it is mounted to an exterior wall of your house and it adds heat to the water after it leaves the system as required instead of heating the tank water itself. There are two main benefits for using a gas booster as opposed to an electric booster; the first is continuous flow hot water. Because the water is heated after it has left the tank hot water can be provided as a continuous flow, even after the tank has run out of hot water. This can be of benefit if the family is large and a lot of hot water is used or when a business has a particular need to not running out of hot water. The second main benefit is that the booster is only used as required, if you use a lot of hot water during the day when the sun is out and deplete the temperature of your tank water, a gas booster won't be used automatically like an electric booster if you have it switched on.
