Renew Energy offers a full 5year workmanship warranty on all Solar Power installations. When looking around please ensure to weigh up the warranty a company will offer with a little background research, ie time in industry or is the price too cheap to be sustainable for a business?
According to ASIC there has been 500+ Solar companies close their doors, been liquidated, administrators appointed or proposed de-registration since 2011. Assuming these companies existed for 5 years and installed 250 installs per annum each it would mean there are 250 system installs X 5 years X 500 Companies = 625,000 Solar Installs without warranty. Yes, Renew Energy is a CEC approved retailer. But please be careful as the CEC have several different memberships and accreditations and a lot of people get them confused.
Servicing your hot water system ensures it runs more efficiently and prolongs the life of the system.
- Replace the Hot Relief Valve.
- Inspect, and replace if required, the Cold Relief Valve.
- Examine, and replace if necessary, the sacrificial anode in vitreous enamel systems
- Check the Heating Element for excessive build-up of Calcium and replace as required.
- Wipe down the Solar Collectors.
- Flush the system.
- Complete a visual inspection of the unit for potential problems.
- Inspect all the connections and ensure no leaks.
